Hello John and "WELCOME" ... this is a great fun place to be with plenty of banter ... why are you getting rid of the ZZR ?.. there are a few on here who are doing/thinking of swopping but the other way around .. if that makes sense ! :mfr_lol:

hi rusty . yes love the bike but i was told you could get panniers &top box  i had top box fitted then found out kawasaki dont do both . so was very p----d off with the salesman at millenium m/cycles . so i thought sod it i get a gtr . just come back from near alton towers today bike went well but even with bar risers 80/90 on motorways not that comfortable (wind blast) you are sat higher with the bar risers but anything under 60 and your wrists ache like hell  without them . i am 5ft 11 so if you were shorter it might be better i dont know .anyway i am rambling so i say bye . cheers john

and just as I was starting to win  suppose there will be a lot of "told you so" now, just wait till my mate  meckie see's this :sweatdrop: he won't let it drop now :nono: suppose the "wolf" will need to put his two-penneth worth in as well :hammer:  but understand were your coming from  if you tour 2 up and need the panniers the GTR is the better choice. did you know you can get the "first time" oxford chuck over panniers that will fit the ZZR  that way you can stay in the adrenaline club :mfr_lol:

yes i had the throw over ones on my fazer even with loads of tape on the plastics they wore through touring france (1400 miles) so i wasnt going to risk it with the zzr as it was even wider . it was going to cost over £500 to fit a monolock panniers so i changed the bike
