took my new 650 versys out for a decent ride yesterday, and first impressions are  the 2 cylinder engine takes some getting use to compared with the big super smooth 4 cylinders  but credit where's credit is due, it as a excellent engine and gearbox and as a very relaxed riding position, got it to commute to work on and to keep the miles down on my ZZR  don't plan on using the panniers unless I venture out for a weekend away so removed the panniers and fitted a bagster tank cover for those daily essentials, also fitted a hugger, rad guard, fenda extenda, cotton reels, and a gel seat. here is a few pics to stop the "wolf" from asking.. "where are the pics"
with panniers

 Rog the versys is a nice comfy relaxed bike to ride  also seems to handle very well, when the tyres were scrubbed in and the weather brighten up I found it very easy to chuck around  wanted something completely different from the zzr and the only thing theses 2 bikes have in common is.. they both have "two wheels"
p.s sorry about nicking your terminology.. from now on its my "fume shed" :mfr_lol:
The little 'un is a great bike Dave, now, I've not actually ridden one, but do feel able to comment having ridden out with Geoff on many occasions whilst he has been on his 650.....it basically does what it says on the tin
You're excused about the "Rev Shed" usage................... but only this once :mfr_lol:
Roger, when you started the above post with The Little Un....I thought you were on about Dave, not his new bike
