Hi there....
Greetings from Denmark!
Still waiting for the weather gets better. The snow has not escaped our roads yet and there is still much salt. But... best of all... I managed to sell my Hayabusa (K8) and now stands a new GTR1400 is waiting in the garage.
Cheers,
Hans Mosegaard (DK)

Velkommen til forummet ;D
Yeah ditto! ;)
Seriously, welcome along to the forum, what prompted the change of bike?
Welcome to the forum..hope the snow clears soon
Hi and welcome.
morning
Lonewolf: I needed more comfort! Since I do not find a better engine than a Hayabusa, so I had to compromise and choose one that was almost on par. Finally... my "co-driver" (the one who I am married to) seems to like the design of GTR1400 - so.. here we are!
;D
Winston Smith: Google translate or do you really understand danish? ::)

I cannot be held responsible for the inaccuracy of Google Translator!1
Luckily I speak Norwegian already, which means I can read Danish without the need for Google translate......never quite managed the Danish dialect though!
Now then Moesgeard, welcome and greetings. Do you know how much it costs to fill the GTR's petrol tank in your country, just wondering for future reference ?
22L of heavy V-power on the nice and fancy Shell servicestation.... (rates for 22. marts 2011)
1L = dkr. 11,80-
22L = 259,60-
Converted into EUR - that would be EUR 34,84-
Converted into GBP - that would be GBP 30,22-
But... who cares? ;D
And since You did'nt ask...
Price for GRT1400 in DK would be DKR 310.000,-
Yes... do the math..

Under normal circumstances, so we usually say that in Denmark that you pay a car or motorcycle by a factor of 3 to 4 compared with, for example. Germany or England. In return, we should not pay for our children to attend school, visit to the doctor is free, universities are free, all state pension which they can actually live by .... And finally, our wages in Denmark are generally higher than, for example. UK. And we have a national team (football) who can kick the ass out of England! :-)
After all... not that bad, eh? ;D

Wild stab in the dark that she was called Rosetta Stone then!
LOL
Finally!
Frankies was ready to ship-out my new GTR! Ready for first ride back to Odense... a quick trip for 200km!
(http://www.anet.dk/gtr14-show.jpg)
Day-1: Quick brake-in 745km
Day-2: Added another 900km
Day-3: Yet another 750km
Back to work.. and prep. for weekend-trip to Milano.....
It is not as fast as the Hayabusa! In contrast, the far greater comfort, better fuel economy. You can actually keep going to run far on the bike! It is still fitted with Bridgestone, but Michelin Pilot Road 3 is ordered. I had many tests, but this was the first opportunity to test the "bike" over a longer distance. Torque is amazing. I am more than convinced that the GTR1400 is a real pleasure - and is glad that I chose GTR1400. Unfortunately lost BMW K1300GT and Yamaha FJR1300 ... maybe next time? ;-)
