No, The GTR is still tucked up under a duvet, and it's staying there until all the salty :shit: shite has gone  BUT the Versys did me proud ( again ) !!!!! What a cracking bike these little things are !!!!!!!! Oh, and we dont JUST go to the bridge, The bridge is where we meet, and just the starting point. We managed 190 miles yesterday, most of them in the pouring rain, BUT loved every minute. You really should try riding a bike someday :whistling:, It's great fun

Geoff do you have the 650 or 1000 versys? their a nice bike  but the seat height is a tad to high for me  and with me being slim I don't have the weight to push it down :whistling: :mfr_lol:
OK, so your saying I'm a fat b :censored: eh :mfr_lol: Mine is a 650 and a cracking bit of kit. If I didn't have millions coming in from all my off shore accounts and investments :whistling: :ohplease: and I could only have one of my bikes the Versys would be the one that I kept.

Erm at least I have got one, unlike some non riding, (what excuse can I come up with this week for not going out) folk on here. :whistling: I may be 65 ya know But the GTR most certainly is NOT too much for me.  It seems unlikly but,, if in between baby sitting, ironing, doing the pots, painting, decorating, making the evening meal, gardening, dusting, hoovering etc etc etc etc etc you ever get to ride a bike again, you may get to see the old man finding it quite easy to ride the big fella.    :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol:
Sorry about the confusion ... could be the fact that I,m fast approaching 50 ! :mfr_lol:
Rusty, Yes the 650 Versys is a great bike, punches way above its weight. The engine is an absolute stormer, and if I'm honest is as quick as you can safely go on todays roads. The bike is comfy, came with luggage, a vario screen and hand guards. Does about 60 to the gallon, and is just so much FUN to ride. The big K sell shed loads of them, and I now know why.

this is playing right into your hands  but I've only got sunday off this weekend  but if the wife lets me out, will try to get to the bridge so we can slag each other off "face to face" p.s while were on the subject of the old
65 ya know or the old 66 ya know comments.. which one is it? I'm sure you said you got your bus pass last year so I assumed your 66 ya know, however if this is not the case let me know, you don't need any more years adding on  either way your either 4 years or 3 years away from the best position to be in :mfr_lol:

Dave I have never said that I am 66. And there is a good reason for that, It's because I'm 65 ya know   Oh and the comment on 69 :whistling: I wouldn't know what ya mean :embarrassed: :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol:
