:ohplease:
Can anyone recommend good tyre pressure gauge.. I already have the pencil type but its a straight connector and hard to use.
I dont want to buy some cheap rubbish either.. Is the digital ones any good or would I be best sticking to the old type where the end pops out? So many on fleabay I can't decide
Hi Debs
I still use a stainless steel pencil one but the fitting is angled.
I have looked at some of the digital ones but the trouble is finding one that is small enough to fit.
I recntly bought Michelin Tyre Valve Extension which helps when inflating the tyres at a garage but also for check the tyre pressures -

Kind regards
Steve
Debs, this looks ok although maybe a bit cheapish

This one is a better quality option

And these are pretty good and better value

That one looks like a goodun Debs.
Deb's I know youv'e bought one now but I use this one from Halfords,
http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_215808_langId_-1_categoryId_255241 (http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_215808_langId_-1_categoryId_255241)
Its a tyre inflator rather than gauge but it can be very accurately set and does the job very well.
I already have a tyre inflator thats built in to a battery booster pack that I used to use when Im had a car, but I wanted a separate gauge.
I've always used these cheap Halfords digital ones.
http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_566807_langId_-1_categoryId_255241 (http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_566807_langId_-1_categoryId_255241)
Accurate and they fit on the 1400 rear wheel.
My first one rattled around the glove box for 4 years before it died (battery died) and the replacement is still working fine.
I have one of these

Bit pricey at Halfords, I cannot remember where mine came from. But it does fit the GTR and my Z1100 easily.
Valve accesson my 1100 is even harder than the GTR, only a 16" rear wheel and a bigger hub for the final drive.
