Got my new bike delivered last week. Only done about 50 miles so far :-) Booked on a tour in May to France. Extras include a topbox, fender extenda & hugger and radiator guard. Screen seems a couple of inches to short even at 4000 revs...
Looks like fine weather for W/E so add on few more of them slow ol run in Miles...
Prob good thing having them extras added on by them , saves you P*ssing around in the next few weeks.
Not sure I like top boxes, got plenty room with panniers. Always used Heingerik roll bags on back rack for touring when x used to come. They made comfy back rest if she needed it.
Also top Boxes on FJRs were renound for causing bit of a Weave....
Nice one Andy .... The French Trip will be awesome, especially with all the kit and boxes ! Any pics for us to drool over ?
I have to say, and it's only as I commute to London etc that I like the Top Box ... saves squeezing through city traffic !

Hi Andy. We just bought a 2009 model and are also going to France in may. We leave May 9th for Angers and return May 17th. Keep a look out for my silver GTR1400 09 reg with a red Blackbird and a blue SV650. Good luck..Chris
