Title: Front Indicator Bulb
Post by: Phill_York on March 30, 2013, 08:04:24 PM
Hello everyone. I am new to the GTR and therefore the Group (I have had 4 x ST1100 and 2 x ST1300s but had Kawasaki sports bikes before I was so old (ZZR600, 2 x ZXR750, ZX9R, ZZR1100 and ZX7R)).

I need access to the front indicator bulbs and can't believe that you have to remove the whole side panel to change a bulb but can't see how to do it otherwise and no help online that I can find. Please can someone point me in the right direction and save me an hour or so tomorrow.

Thanks in advance.

Had the side panels off last week to fit a pair of R&G sliders... Not more than 10 minutes to get it off
. No need to remove the undertray either...

....

Not really thought about bulb changes but think the panel will need to come off

Welcome to the site BTW

Sorry mate, no short cut.

If you are careful, I managed to loosen off all the relevant bolts and get in there, but its not the easiest task.  Its a bit like trying to get into the wheel arch of a modern car - just a complete pain in the arse.

Sorry its not more helpful.

Neil
