Cracking ride out via Seaways and on to Scarborough - however - Couldn't believe the amount of salt that had clung to the bike after a dry ride.

Leafblower to blow any traces of salty water after rinse-muc off-rinse-shampoo-rinse and finally a good leathering off!

That's a hell of a leaf blower you have there!
It's been a while since I've been to Seaways I must return and have one of their breakfasts again soon.

Don't worry Chaps ... The time will fly by and all will end happily ever after .... Starting at the point you withdraw some of your lump sum and hand it over to the bike dealer !!!  :mfr_lol:

They're a BMW approved accessory at £1800.00!

Price aside, I don't like them - I prefer the standard GT ones.  The GTL has a chrome finish to them, which I don't like as much as the brush stainless on mine.

The standard ones sound awesome in any case!

:stupid:.. they don't look as good on the Beemer as the Akras on Daves' ZZR

I wish I still had the Akrapovic can that I had on my early GTR

that's because the standard zzr1441 exhausts are butt ugly and over sized to house the secondary cats thats inside each exhausts which only adds to the excessive weight they are  but the standard b.m.w exhausts look in proportion to the bike and the triple ports had style and that aggressive  look

Talking of cleaning bikes etc .. just ordered an Atom Motorcycle Dryer from "Performance Motorcare Products" in Staffs .... they were out of stock a few weeks ago so I left them an E mail ... they just got back to me which I thought was good sales business so they indeed got a sale for their customer service efficiency !
The Gtr will never have been cleaner or DRYER when that arrives !!! :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol:
