Gents, further to my earlier post on 'Rusty Discs', bike has just had 500 mile service and the dealer took a couple of photos of said disks and will replace under warranty asap.Blimey, how easy was that.
Forgot to introduce myself, came over from dot org, only there a couple of weeks. Reside in Liverpool. Oh by the way, have yet to see a photo of this new metallic green that does it justice. It's a fab colour all sparkly and gorgeous. Lowered pillion pegs x 50mm, and fitted MRA Vario, wife says a very comfy bike, a lot better than previous, the 1050 Tiger ( out of the wind blast at speed she says) So, all good so far. Off to the Pyranees and Spain next month, will let you know how i got on.
Love and kisses, Stephen.
(will do the Ponderosa on any Sunday)
Hi lamin,
What's your view on the mra vario? I'm interested in buying one but don't know how it's be for someone at 6ft
Me 5' 11', the MRA defo. takes away the buffeting at any sort of speed, also eliminates that weird back-pressure which pushes you forward. The electric up and down, combined with the multi setting of the aero foil thingy should allow for perfect tranquility! Also quality is superb and the tinted one complements the dark green on my bike. If you want a tryout, takes about 3 mins. to fit if you are near my part of the world.
Stephen

Argh, just read this now. I am relatively near to Liverpool and work in Manchester. However, I've bought a MRA Vario which will hopefully be delivered before the weekend.
Thanks for the offer
