Well, me being the open minded chap that I am (closet BMW owner) I went along with a couple of chaps from work to Vines @ Guildford .... didn't ride or have anything booked in just went for the free tea and grub, as you do, but it's always good to chat to people who have forked out BMW money ....
They only had 1 new liquid cooled Gs booked out for 1/2 hr slots all day and the rest were sold ... I mean there were several in the hour or so we were there, that were being ridden off by their new owners into the sunset.
Spoke to a couple of K1600 owners .. one of whom was "back to biking" after about 20 years and had bought his K a few months ago,... retired chap but had put nearly 10,000 miles on it through the winter .. he loves it so much he doesn't care for the weather !
So a good morning was had and I imagine there will be a LOT of nearly new traded in GS's about very soon !
Ps .. you all know I am a Rukka man but those Rally 3 trousers look nice !
Any one else go today or booked in for tomorrow ?? ... if you are near a BMW dealer their launch is also for Sunday .. so if you fancy a ride out with free tea coffee and grub you may do well to get out and about in the morning .... let us all know if you go.
