It's horrible to hear of these fatalities, and it makes me wonder...65 year old biker ....was he too old ?.....22 year old Peugeot driver was he too inexperienced ?
Either way families and friends of those involved on both sides will be saddened by this event :sad:
Tragic, very sad for all involved. I echo Debs sentiments, be safe out there.

On a more serious note..... it goes without saying it deeply saddens me when bikers are killed or seriously hurt, I've had 3 friends killed on their bikes over the years :sad: they were in their prime :sad: theses accidents happened in the late sevenites and mid eighties and they were all good experience riders :yes: but speed and careless car drivers were to blame. I decided years ago, if I wanted to continue riding bikes I would need to find a "happy medium" and change my attidude and the way I rode bikes. it dosen't matter how careful we are out there :no: if some car driver, bus or truck pulls out right in front of you or hits you side on :angry: there is sod all we can do about it :no: I always ride to speed limits in built up areas and I'm allways on the look out for those "pull out merchants" and all the other hazards out there, so debs I second what you say :yes: please... all be carefull out there.
Sad news indeed Debs and some good words of wisdom from Dave. (For a change !)
I've often said a moments madness can be a life changing experience for all concerned. Far too many road deaths in this country for my liking and the Courts are so soft with people there's no deterrent for reckless driving. If the young driver was at fault lets hope justice is carried out swiftly.
