Hi all,
Just popped in to Infinity at Hangar Lane, London to see about getting some new textiles.
Walked out with the Rukka Arma S jacket and trousers and a pair of Rukka gloves. I won't tell you how much, but it had better keep me warm dry and happy!
I have obviously hidden the receipt from 'er indoors for fear of being castrated without an anesthetic!
Textiles look the danglies, will report back on them once I've done some touring. Right, off to work 25 hours a day to pay for the buggers.....
Your more poor then me then. I only have arma s jacket and the unit trousers and it made me poor to:) grats pn your beautiful new jacket :stupid:
Well done Piggy .... there are many on here who are I am sure are very tired of me banging on about Rukka ... I have it all like yourself .. commute most days throughout the year and so needed some "proper" kit ... in the last couple of years I have ridden through some awful weather and I have remained warm and DRY .... worth every penny. I shall stop now ! :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol:
Rukka......what's that then?
I'd rather get cold and wet than the wife find the receipt tho....!
Dunno when I'll get to try it out - just had a kidney stone blasted by laser, now have a fucking bladder infection blah blah!
Something to look forward too - think I'm doing a 4 day tour over Easter weekend.
Cheers, the pig
If the wife finds the receipt you may find out just how good they are - when you're living in them...
Winston - I fear you may be correct !
On a weird note, when I type 'winston' on my iPhone, the predictive text tries to change it to 'Einstein' !!!!
Something you ain't telling us??
My wife bought me mine. Guess she is a keeper. :mfr_lol:
I too am now officially a pauper.
ArmaS suit in black is now mine.
Big Up for Infinity York, Ray, who sorted me out.
Full whack for the suit, but a pair of Apollo gloves (about 10% of suit price) 'thrown' in as a deal breaker!
Also double Infinity points this weekend, meaning I now have £140.00 to spend in there!!
Effectively £210.00 out of the deal
I was like a kid with new shoes and kept it on to ride home in!!
Rukka is undoubtedly awesome clothing, but, phew, its expensive
I dont understand why its so expensive.. Its only a jacket!
No Debs it's not !
Debs - when your next out and about, pop into Smart Rider between Bournemouth and Christchurch.
Armar S is closer to top of the range than the stuff I have, but yes its expensive, but totally universal and what other kit has a 5 year warranty? (except Kriega, which is 10 years).
I've been through some kit, and I have to say, I will buy Rukka again, its the best stuff that I've ever used.
