Hi partyarty and welcome to the forum. Three thousand miles a year on the GTR isn't enough!
i know norman but were only a small island lol but looking foward to assen ;D
lol, I worked in Dublin for a year and Ireland + Northern Ireland is a beautiful country. Wish I had a bike then. Would have spent the weekends going all over Ireland
yes norman your quite right some nice roads for bikes have you ever been over to see the north west 200 road race in may and the coast road up is great for bikes and a must if you have never been they come in there droves from all over the world to see it.
Welcome Arty....agree with NB.....Ireland needs exploring by bike...it's on my list of places to go
Welcome im from limerick in munster still managing to get up 10,000 miles a year, unfortunately most of that is going to work.
Welcome Arty, I have to admit Ireland was one of my three choices for a trip this year, unfortunately the Scottish Highlands won, I think everyone has to visit Scotland on a bike at least once in their life.
Ireland does appeal to me though, from what I have seen of it, TV, travel mags etc it looks a beautiful location.
What makes you think we want yer ol Bm around these parts....!
Where did you go in the Motherland ( Somerset) to get the Bike? Nossy that's all...
What are the Roads like south of the Boarder now. They used to be terrible for pot holes. Just like here now....!
Hello Partyarty and welcome to this forum ... we all love it as you can tell .... now then everyone ... NB ..Fatharry... Mr Wolf... are all saying they fancy a bit of Ireland ... and so do I !! So come on then .. once this years trip to Betts -Y- Coed is done, and of course it will be a roaring success.. lets turn our attention to 2012 and a few days in Ireland ! Not far to go, easy to get to, beautiful scenery and great natives .. so I am told ! What do you all think ?????? Is it worth starting an " Ireland 2012 " thread ???? .... me thinks it is !
I'd definately be up for that, subject to my other half's approval of course but I can normally wrap her round my little finger and get what I want. ;D
Would be interested in a trip to Guinness land, I'm only ten minutes from pembroke to rosslare ferry as well, did rosslare out to ring of kerry and back a few years ago and had a great time, stopped at b and b on an eight night trip.
I'm sure I'd be allowed to play out for a trip to Ireland
Ok .. I shall start a thread in " Adventure " ... as that's what it shall be and we can go from there ... get an idea of what people think ( like the camping trip numbers always go up with time ).
Thread done .... I wonder how many pages we can get to by the time we leave for the Ferry ??
