We went up the road to Cannock Chase this morning to get a few pictures before the big thaw comes.

not on your nellie mate :nono: not going anywhere near where you reside :sweatdrop: untill every little snow flake and icicle as vanished with out a trace :mfr_lol:
I like snowy pictures .... :yes: :yes:
yes indeed... it's very very beautiful, did some trips (not on bike ;-)) & had fun with junior in the snow ...
now he learned that if he puts his boots full of snow that will change in a lot of water in the house :mfr_lol:
here over the channel we had ca 8 inches snow in a few weeks & it was very cold ;
indeed from this night it will disappear... snif snif ;-(
I like the snow very much but I like the bike also as much :yes:
couldn't ride the last month here ; there is still ice on the roads.
hope to bike again next weekend...
nice pics, is that Little Snow White ....? :mfr_lol:
Geoff, February 2012 I believe it was when that little accident occurred. Was it Lamin? I think it was but I could be wrong.
Watch out for those cooler dips on the road, bloody dangerous that was.

Erm :shocked: I chose Slaidburn because it's probably nearer where YOU reside than me. Plus all the snow(lots) that we have had has almost all gone :yes:.The rain :boat: this week should have washed all the salt away, so come next Saturday we should be ready to rumble :banana: :listencarefully: You have the rest of the week to come up with some more feeble excuses :whistling: :mfr_lol:.

Yes Steve I think it was Lamin, :embarrassed:. Dont think it was dangerous, just a little bit interesting, when you've been riding bikes as long as me, (I'm 65 ya know), The odd moment when you :shit: yourself just adds to the fun. To be honest my overiding memory of that day was of it being a fantastic sunny(but cold)day. Oh and the 100 yards long skating rink that I had to ride over (twice) :eek: inbetween Ribblehead, and Hawes. :banana: :banana: :banana:

Good man Roger, I knew I could count on you. I am sure you are looking forward to the forthcoming summer just as much as me. Bring it on :banana: :banana:.

nearer to me than you :no: infact I never even heard of slaidburn till I slidderd there :mfr_lol:
Geoff, maybe not dangerous, but certainly interesting. :mfr_lol: I for one have never had to cross such a wide expanse of ice on the GTR before, it was interesting to say the least and I didnt even cross Lamin Pass, (as it's now called).
