Title: I Need a Switch Bracket
Post by: Debs on January 26, 2013, 06:50:59 AM
Does anyone know where I can get one of these switch brackets?

The only one I have found is in the states. I want to mount a toggle switch to it like in the pic and mount it in the same place on the left hand bar

Debs, if you have the dimensions I'm sure that it would be fairly easy for someone to fabricate a bracket for you, I'd even have a go myself

Start by posting the dimensions you require.

i made a bracket from a piece of aluminium bar from b and q which is similair to the one ive shown in the second pic, thin ali is really easy to work with , you can use a hacksaw, a file a grinding wheel to get the shape and then drill holes fairly easy

my bracket is bolted in the same place you require yours, i used a waterproof , push on push off switch rather than a toggle

Hi,
Give Woodway Engineering a call in Barnacle, Warwickshire. They kit out 1400GTR police bikes and should be able to sell you one off the shelf.

They do not use these brackets and are unable to supply.
