Title: Battery cover torque settings,
Post by: Lonewolf on January 11, 2013, 02:20:04 PM
The metal plate on the right hand side of the bike looking forward which goes over the battery slot aperture and then which is partially covered by the plastic body trim, does anyone have any ideas on torque settings for this? I remember reading somewhere that this plate contributed to the rigidity of the bike and should be torqued up correctly but I can't recall the numbers.

Steve I've had a look and can't see any reference to a torque setting for that plate..I would go with the usual G.A T setting (Good And Tight) obviously don't overtighten

In case I've not looked properly I checked section 16-25 on here
