Johnny, unfortunately I am in the north of England, 200+ miles away so I don't know the geography for access down there.

London's a big old place.  Maybe one of the southern members could help.

Looks like there are four shops in the area you mention - central and west.

I am happy to call them for you, but what size do you take?

Johnny ....
I use Infinity Motorcycles at Great Portland Street just south of Regents Park ....they are an official Rukka dealer and have bought all my Rukka stuff from there ... I bought my Armas a few months ago from there .... Any idea of size ?? I shall call them for you in a minute and check out their stock etc ... Stand by ........

Ok Johnny ....They have all shapes and sizes BUT the Armas with yellow/ high viz shoulders and yellow arms ( the best one obviously as I have it too ) can be ordered from their stockists ... Only 24 hrs notice required .... £1,099. They ordered mine without a deposit but if your wife went there I am sure they would help her out.
The address is 171 Great Portland Street London W1W 5PG
Tel 0207 637 5002.
If your wife can get there today the jacket will be in for Friday easily.
If you need any more help get back on here or E mail me ...... No problems.

That's why you need to get your hands on it yourself.... I ride a lot of miles all year round and I can say that in the last 30 years that is the bestest warmest mostest waterproof jacket I have ever put on ... Worth every penny. Find a dealer near you and try one on .... Dare you !!

With all the kit I own I am currently trying to justify to myself the desire for this suit.

I just know it is worth every penny and will last a good 10 years if not more, but it is a lot of brass.

I may sell off my old kit and helmets to create space and free some cash...

Ooh did someone mention Rukka!

The gear is superb - defo something to aspire to. After graduating from the budget gear through the medium quality to high end HG goretex I can say that the Arma S or Argonaut jacket will be next. It's just they're o damn expensive!

My 2 year old £500 goretex pro-shell trousers have just started leaking at the "critical-area".  :mfr_lol:
HG have taken em in and are looking at them. Reckon they'll replace so can't complain.

Maybe I'm not meant to cross the chasm between Rukka and the rest of the world - at least I've got me gloves!

When you've spent all that money on such high quality kit, you can't risk it getting wet or damaged!!  :mfr_lol:
Me, I'll stick with what fits and if it stays waterproof, so much the better.
When I win the Lottery I may buy something more $$$$ but even then it will have to fit me!

No I would not buy Rukka kit, £1000 for a jacket no matter how good it is to my mind is extortion :ohplease:

:agree: A thousand quid for a jacket  it'd have to be very very good, but then I've never tried it so I wouldn't know, even though I did once own a GS  :mfr_lol:

My HG gear has served me well, even in the worst conditions that I would ever choose to ride in, I've always stayed warm and dry

Whilst on the topic of bike gear I wear a lovely leather 60s style Black Stefano jacket and black leather jeans when I'm riding a classic bike....and before anyone says owt....NO......its not the gay type of clothing,   :mfr_lol:

The point is that they are brilliant if it doesn't rain when they get very wet and very very heavy, but its all in the cause  :mfr_lol:

BTW, I bought a Belstaff jacket on e-bay a year or so ago for riding on my off road bikes (which I no longer own) actually its a bloody good jacket with loads of pockets and is warm and dry,  second hand it cost me £65.00 delivered.

What price warm dry hands on a miserable wet 165 mile ride back to work eh. As I get older the simple pleasures are appreciated more!

Just compared my R**a gloves to my old HG's whist getting gear ready for tomorrow. What was I thinking - should have bought em years ago.

Trouble is the "R" jacket would prob outlive my riding days -  especially if I keep it hung up in garage :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol: only kidding - I'll be on 2 wheels for ages yet!

At the moment im not a happy camper.... They was not able to get the jacket in time. some window licker was stuck somwhere and it would not reach them until after my wife leave. 24  hr was what they needed, we orderd it 48 hrs before she leaves. Now they say they will ship it to norway and pay the tax... If that realy happens im good if not im not sure what il say.. Its payed for.
Most likly now it will be stuck in custom for a week or two. good thing its still winter here.

I don't know how the postal system works in Norway but here in the U.K there is always a chance that customs and VAT will add there own charges to your parcel.

Rukka Armax is good kit, no question but prices are ridiculous. I have Rukka for work and its good, although its all gone patchy purple, as have a lot of others, but I have Halvarssons kit for my own and to be honest its at least as good. To be honest it works better than Rukka in extremes of temperature as well so at less than half the price I know where my money would go!

I bought a HG master V suit, the jacket turned purple and was replaced, but was told the new one carried the old one's warranty term

That is now going purple  :hammer:

Its the TFL cool coating that causes the problem. It reacts with sunlight and fades the dye. Other suits using the same coating all have the same problem. I've had my suit replaced once but the trousers are now as bad again and the updated ones only have one pocket! Whats that about! I've decided to live with the fading rather than have the new trousers. I wouldn't be happy if I'd paid for them!!

We used to get HG TFL leather pants - these faded to a brown/patchy colour.

TFL Cool is OK except for this!

There is no rush but the whole idea was to not pay the norwegian import tax. Do t want the extra £200. Even need to pay tax on shipping. Would be cheeper to buy it in norway then. Its £1250 here.
But if i bring it into norway from a vacation, its tax free.

My ArmaS arived by post today and made me a happy biker. I did not wear it in bed tonight but i wanted to. Looks and feel like a serious pice of kit. I had a urge to say: i'l be back when wearing it. Sure gave me a terminator feeling.
Exelent service by Hgbmotorcycles in London. As they could not get in time for my wife to take it with her back home, they shipped it and they coverd the shipping.
