Hi All,
I found this forum looking for install info on my new Delkevic Slip-on present that Santa brought me!
Anyway, I wanted to say Hello, Merry Christmas!
...and of course show you my favorit present: http://youtu.be/fZVeDRRXugY
Install was EASY once I figured out that the piece in the middle of the pipe was for the stop of the center stand, rather than a mounting point. This job can be done in 20 minutes the second time!
Hope this is helpful for anyone looking for a new exhaust. It's just a bit louder and throatier than the stock pipe but probably 33% less weight, and better throughput. I like to listen to music or talk with my wife while riding (bluetooth) so I didn't want something excessively loud, but I do want to be heard when I twist the throttle hard. The 18" seems perfect for my needs.
Tomorrow I'm sure I'll "get lost" on the way in to the office (it's ok, I'm the boss!) and will get it on the highway to make sure it's not annoying, but as you can see from me running it in my garage that it's a nice sound and looks pretty nice, too. I wanted something "shiny" and that's why I didn't go for the carbon fibre model.
OK, ride safe and have fun!
