do you mean the akros would look and sound the best? that I never doubted :nono: I could have got a nice pair of titanium exhausts for a sight dam less money, but thought I traded 2 premium bikes in for the zzr1400 and got a fair amount of cash back. and the wife as plans for decorating again  so thought I better spend it before she dose

what heel plates?? do you mean the carbon shields
Very nice mate, big improvement.
Dave, WTF have you done? They look proper shit!!!!
I am of course pulling his little legs :mfr_lol: they look stunning.
My earlier posts hailed the Akrapovic as equal to the mighty Yoshimuras. I'd love a ZZR1400 with a pair of either!
I'm glad me dosh for the bagster was spent well! These are defo Waitrose finest!
Have to say my minty Remus Hexacone Titanium for £200 is a close second from Aldi though!

what about some pics of that great looking tank cover on the nicest coloured gtr  cover
You are right of course! Trouble is I'm on an iPad and not worked out the Dropbox thingy. On pc at weekends only. The cover is fitted but GTR is tucked up till the salt goes away!
Can I bag the title "fastest colour"? I notice no one asked when the mighty GTR became a ZZR!
I freely admit yours is now truly "fastest" even against the fastest R1 which was so fast it was invisible!

Yeah right Dave, they only call them Carbon Shields so that they can charge you more :mfr_lol:
Heel plates are probably cheaper
- nice !
- how is the new 1441 motor , compared to the one in the GTR ? Smooth ? Power wise ?
cheers
.
Dave, That should be in the Tate Modern; beautiful masterpiece. Don't like your reg plate though, those scouser cops will 'av you for that :mfr_lol:

well it's very smooth  seem's alot smoother than my 2008 zzr1400 df8 model, as far as the power is concearned and thanks to the weather it's only got 115 miles on the clock so still running it in  don't think it's very fair to compare to my gtr  although the gtr is a brillant machine, the new model zzr1400 is a completely different beast  and both bikes will out do each other at what they were best designed for  p.s "delicate question deserves a delicate answer"

yeah.. if the plod get the chance to actually see the plate :mfr_lol:
hi 2 kwacks dont know if you have received my pm to you , i had a bit of bother returning your pm, the polished heel guards look much better than the stock ones, but the shade of green is a different colour to the shade of green on your bike ,you could easily go over the engraving with the coreect shade of green paint if you needed to , i see you are using an abba stand on your bike i bought one for my 1441 but found it a sod to fit without marking the frame i bought some carbon wrap from e bay to protect the vunerable parts of the bikes frame. i sold my bike with the polished and standard stock heel guards,
keith.. No problem using the abba stand but have been using a abba stand for years, providing you keep hold the fitting on the stand into the swinging arm on the left side while you lign the right side up and keep hold why your tighten the butterfly knob at the bottom of the stand still keeping hold of the left side while you hand tighten the rightside, both sides won't pop out and mark your frame. thanks for the info and pic on the green engraved heel gaurds, As far as I'm concearned the colour match is not good enough  so may go for the same heel plates but with the black engraved zzr1400 or may even go for the powerbronse carbon heel gaurds but :undecided: on which, will sleep on it
Dave ....
They look bloody excellent ... Finished it off a treat ... That just looks luuuuuuuvly !!!!
