Title: Exhaust Tail pipe Choose One
Post by: wainyone on December 16, 2012, 11:56:33 AM
Please help - Want to change the tail pipe on my 2010 model, thought about a Scorpion but, do I need a power commander fitted as well, or wil it run fine. Some guys say they can be a bit lean.

You recommend any other pipes, need it to sound orsum in tunnels in the Alps, everyone else is sounding me out.

I like my GTR to look reasonably standard.  I have used a Remus Hexacone for miles most probably 80k).

I think the fueling isn't great at a little above idle, but I love it.  baffle out, its not obscene and it looks better than standard.

Beowulf for me. No need for any re-mapping.

Two Brothers on mine....remapping is not required, and if you want it loud then remove the sound suppressor....simples

I've also had an Akropovic pipe on a previous GTR and that didn't need any remapping either, although it wasn't a straightforward fitment as some modification to the link pipe was required

Two Bros on mine too, thought it was just a bit peppy as straight can but with P1X suppressor fitted it's fine.

Lot neater than the standard pipe, can say if a remap is required only way to know for sure is to get it on the dyno, will do that next year maybe.

Remus Hexacone for me. Sounds great. No re-map required as ECU takes care of it. Very light compared to the spud launcher, and I think it looks better too
