Yeah, no coolant, only 2 nuts on each wheel, pins holding everything together.
Interesting as a display but not much good as a usable vehicle.
A friend here rebuilds Jeeps and your appears to be in half decent condition.
Don't let it sit too much longer though as that rust will spread, even with the primer on it.
Throw a small block Chevy in it and scare yourself silly! :mfr_lol:

Oh I say...
There is a storry behind these pics. Il try to tell the story. Please forgive my poor spelling.
A friend in Florida needed a new floor in his jeep. I told him no problem, just send me a ticket and il do the welding. And he did. So in february i poped over to put in a new floor. My friend's friend have a body shop and he let us use his shop.
We ran into a lot of problems becurse the previous owner had used bondo insted of welding and new metall. The owner of the shop told me one day: your not gona be able to finich this before you leave so today i got you some help. And then the blond girl showed up to give me a hand. The most suprising thing was that she knew how to use a spanner and for the first 30 min we did get the new floor installed. The next hr was spent with the camera. This body shop had 7 modells working there. And mark, the owner liked my pic to much he had a new girl come in each day.
I came hope with 1500pic of the girls
So that's why it's called a body shop

Many explanations of the origin of the word jeep have proven difficult to verify. The most widely-held theory is that the military designation GP (for Government Purposes or General Purpose) was slurred into the word Jeep in the same way that the contemporary HMMWV (for High-Mobility Multi-purpose Wheeled Vehicle) has become known as the humvee.
An alternative view launched by R. Lee Ermey, on his television series Mail Call, disputes this, saying that the vehicle was designed for specific duties, and was never referred to as "General Purpose" and it is highly unlikely that the average jeep-driving GI would have been familiar with this designation. The Ford GPW abbreviation actually meant G for government use, P to designate its 80-inch (2,000 mm) wheelbase and W to indicate its Willys-Overland designed engine. Ermey suggests that soldiers at the time were so impressed with the new vehicles that they informally named it after Eugene the Jeep, a character in the Popeye cartoons created by E. C. Segar. Eugene the Jeep was Popeye's "jungle pet" and was "small, able to move between dimensions and could solve seemingly impossible problems

well I can't really comment on that  because I know :shit: about jeeps  but the story I heard from a very old soldier when I was visiting my brother-in-law in oregon U.S.A  was.. in war time the jeeps were parachuted out of the planes, and most got damaged as they hit the ground, so they were built with "Just Enough Essential Parts" :mfr_lol:
