Hi Guys!
Thanks for having me here... Been reading this forum as a Guest... since 8mths ago...
I got my Connie as a 2nd Hand Unit from a fellow friend... this year late May.. It's a 2011 Year old model, had since clocked appox 10,000 Km on her...
Would love to learn from you guys... My last few tourers were the ST1100 & the STX1300... Both are great bikes, but the GTR is a whole different story!
Hope to learn and share with you guys!
Here's my ride...
Stoner aka Gerald

Thanks for the prompt and warm welcome!
Still a novice with regards to the GTR... Loving it every min I climb on broad her...
I'm still saving up $$$ to dress her up, getting her ready for my next major trip up north to Laos...

No...no... no... I'm no Racer... I had this nick since I'm very young as my dad use to be in the Land Scape (Garden) Industry... Trading Stone and pebbles, customizing Waterfall features, Pre-cast Concrete... Thus got this name since young...
Guess that comes from playing too much stones and pebbles... ha..ha..ha...
Welcome to the board Gerald, ahh you lucky thing... to have biking weather good enough for shorts, stuff dreams are made of here...

- yo. Hi.
- am from JB (across causeway from ya !).
- will shortly be looking for tyres for my 2012 GTR. What do your recommend ? The Pirelli Angel ST or the Michelin Pilot Road 3 ?
.
Stoner, so let me get this right, you've been lurking in the background for eight months during which time I've been out to Singapore! We could have met up and you could have been my official guide. :mfr_lol:
Great to have you on board though, keep the posts coming with plenty of photos won't you?
Steve, if you did, you could have done all the trip with no bank a/c :mfr_lol:
Hello Stoner and "Welcome" ... no winter riding kit for you then ! It's freezing here in the UK.

Hi Mate,
I'm on Metzeler Z8 Tyres... So far so good... still have appox 30% Tread Wear after appox 11,000km.
Price wise is still ok... Got them locally for SGD$440.00
A couple of my pals are on Michelin Pilot Road 3, their review and feed back is pretty good... Great on the Wets... Dry... just OK...
