Can't beat that, only -4 for me.  Had to break the ice off the seat though and the key wouldn't open the panniers till I got rid of the ice in the lock!!

Ride to the NEC yesterday convinced me I needed new winter gloves. Got a good deal and hands nice and toasty on the way home. Sorted.

Be careful out there people.
I saw a bike get slow-motion side-swiped by an out of control sliding car this morning.
Biker managed to not go down but has a bruised shin and needed new undies.  :shit:
In weather like this the numpty-moron-faqwits are out of their depth.

It's just started to snow here but nothing too serious, we had almost -14 here a couple of years ago, I thought it'd be colder than that in your homeland.

Stuck in the snow on the penines now.
Yes, I shouldn't be using mobile in the car but as I've moved as far as an asthmatic ant...

Now hang on a sec guys, this thread started out as "what does your guage say"......not how ruddy cold is it in your part of the world.

Minus 14 is good but only if you are out riding in it.

As for those saying it's 30 degrees here at the moment......GRRRR  :gun_bandana:

If you flick through the displays you will see Battery, tyre pressure, current and average fuel consumption and - wait for it - outside temperature. And that is the temp gauge we're obviously talking about.
BTW mine showed 3o yesterday

I'm waiting for the Beast from the East to arrive, then we'll see the men and the boys.

Mark 1 owners are recommended to visit Halfords if you want to stay with this thread!     £4.99 I gather.

pull pin, throw and await the response.

Darn newfangled widgets. Next you'll be telling us it has heated grips and traction control.  :whistling:
I look at the thermometer in my garage and pay attention to the weather forecasts.
I don't ride on snow an ice any more.
Been there, done that, it  :censored: hurt and was  :censored: expensive.

Thats official then ...-7.5 is the lowest temp GTR forum riders have taken their bike out in this winter, unless anyone can say otherwise.
Well done Bumpkin..
