Gotta say - what a cracking day!
Not mega-miles but nice run out, starting at mates in Beverley, out to Bridlington, coffee on the sea front then inland to Seaways for coffee and cake before they closed!
80 miles or so in glorious sunshine until the last 20 mile run home when it dropped like blue ice and clouded over (no rain though!!!)
Must have got some looks though, a GTR, a Pan, a Harley and a Harley Trike with a one legged ex vet lookalike with skulls everywhere!
True biking diversity! (or the biking version of Last of the Summer Wine?!)
Sounds like you had a good day. Out of interest, you may me able to answer this question. Is there still a bikers cafe/venue just outside Stamford Bridge heading towards Driffield where you turn off the main road to use the scenic route on route to Bridlington?
Have you any pics from todays ride?
That'll be Seaways - an old garage?
It's on the A166 sort of between Stamford Bridge and Driffield.

Apologies, I hadn't realised that that was Seaways. I can remember 20+ years ago it used to sell sheepskin rugs and things. I've been past it recently but never stopped there and didn't know what it was called.
Small world eh?
