I just got back from the bike show (in Milano....) and I am not a happy bunny.
Right up until I got inside, I was totally convinced that I owned the best possible bike for me. Now, I'm not so sure...........

This is my problem. The K1600 GTL. It's absolutely BRILLIANT. I couldn't get off it. That's probably why I look so miserable. I was completely taken in by this one and I really want to avoid giving it a test ride.... I strongly suspect that if I did, my wallet would find itself empty rather quickly.

It's really brimming with gadgets and technology (which is right up my street anyway) and it just fits me like a glove. Anyway, look how bloody high the standard screen goes!

Nice pics Ros, I still wouldn't want the BMW 1600, as its too big for me, and the Voyagers look as if they too are made by Chrysler :mfr_lol:
The FJR, has been nicely updated and now features some extra toys, but its still the same old bike underneath, I must say the I have personally always liked the look of the FJR :yes:
I recon that Kawasaki will conduct a fairly major upgrade of the GTR in 2014, and I'll wait till then

I think they have little choice, looking at the competition now.
That BM is about 23K EUR which is a mighty step up.
Don't test ride because you are quite right - My wallet emptied very quickly after the test ride :oops:
I was going to jump in and tell you that Winnie says "NO" :nono: :nono: to test riding the K1600, in any model, unless you want to empty your bank very quickly !! :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol:
Well I just went out for a ride on my fabulous GTR and came back grinning from ear to ear, so the pain of yesterday is now lessened somewhat... Must stop looking at the BM on the internet though... :mfr_lol:

:yes: I've got a dark side so like the cruisers :grin: I see the pic of the gtr1400 is in the best colour :smiley: or is it my eyes deceiving me because it looks like "magnesium grey" or is it "arabian red" sometimes the 2 colours do look the same in certain light. I can see how that camper van could come in very handy :whistling: and :yes: the pipes on the mv augusta look :cool:
