Greetings All.
I think I've run out of ground clearance on the GTR - its either that or something big hit me.
But I didn't feel a thing. :-)
If anyone knows of an offside lower fairing for a 2010, 11 or 12 GTR that is going, can you let me know please.
Thanks
Neil

that requires a download, which i now wont do from
any forum. Got a virus from such a download last year which defeated my firewall and ended up with a costly repair
Viper I'm sure this forum is safe.
Hi Neil, Guess you have finished the ploughing for this year. :mfr_lol:
I can highly recommend "All Year Biker" in Southampton as frequented by Debs and me.
Do All year biker fix plastics then? ;-)
And do they visit Cambridge?
Its only that dirty because it was mid week and the photo was taken at work.
Neil
Heres a smaller pic for the old ones who cant scroll :mfr_lol:
Since you didn't hit anything and looking at the scratch on the fairing further in front looks more like a hit-and-run to me. :death:
Lucky he didn't push the bike over.
Looks like it's going to be an expensive repair. :sweatdrop:
Fortunately, It can't be a hit and Run. Locked garage at work, and locked garage at home.
Quoted £93+Vat and I'll fit it myself.
Neil
That's really bad luck.
What was your 90 quid quote for? A new panel ? Sounds damn cheap considering what |I'm paying for a mud guard
I don't suppose you still have the missing piece Neil ?
The panel is basically self coloured abs plastic - no paint - thats why its so cheap.
I didn't look inside but looking at the shear points in the plastic, it didn't get pushed in - more like ripped off. So unfortunately no.
I've been looking on ebay, and I've found one for £25. But its the other side :-(. So I might just have to bite the bullet. :-(

Neil, try this place, they may not always show every available spare part on their website but its worth a try
I think the guys name is Pete or Paul, sorry I can't remember

Maybe if you gave it a wash, we could see the damage a bit more clearly. :mfr_lol:
How the hell did that happen??
Somebody has hit that with something.
Either you leaned over in a corner and it clipped a kerb (I would assume you would feel that), or something got thrown at it whilst stationary or moving, or else someone has swiped it with a car whilst it was parked on the sidestand.
