:stupid:
Certainly different, I bet he won't do that again in a hurry!  :mfr_lol:

Cumbria bike show last year the entrance and exit weren't that well thought out. 'Twas a tad slippery.

Steve,

Why do you have handbag as a top box? Its not even big enough for your wallet  :mfr_lol:

Man up and get a proper one  :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol:

:mfr_lol: Yeah, it does look tiny next to the panniers doesn't it

The tiny top box has long since departed my company. Those of you who are more observant may have noticed that the GTR in the pic is an inferior black one and I haven't owned that now for 9 months at least. The more desirable magnesium one which I currently own has a 47 ltr box on, which doesn't wobble I hasten to add.

I would have enjoyed doing that 'road' on the Honda XR500 I used to own.
But I wouldn't go anywhere near it on the beast.  :mfr_lol:

Steve, I'm intrigued by that new hessian cloth/thatched front tyre, what make is it? and how much?. I dont think it would be up to much on the kind of roads I like to frequent, but hey if they are cheap enough I might give one a try!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ps What kind of mileage would you expect from it?.  :smartass: :whistling:

I would never do the Farmyard weekend..
A friend had all his stuff stolen off his bike on the Sunday after he had packed up and went to look for others.. Got back to bike and it had all gone inc his throw over pannier bags with his dirty underwear in....

It is a shame that this kind of thing does indeed happen, and is very upsetting for all those concerned,  the NABD rally is the same ,every year stuff goes missing and that from disabled peoples tents !! , ( i also heard of how it is dealt with when they catch them, but thats another story ) however if we all stayed away cos of things like this then there soon be no events of any kind let alone bike rallies , nobody would have hollidays cos somebody they know had the pocket picked etc etc  :listencarefully:  we shouldnt let a few bad eggs spoil everything

 :agree:

Im a member of www.bikermatch.co.uk.

Its more of a social bike group than it is a dating site for bikers.. A lot of my friends have met their partners after going to the rallies.. The only one I go to thats not run by the site is Squires Rock & Bike show which is run by Satan Slaves and never had any stuff go missing..

But Im not keen on any other where I dont know folks.. At least with BM I know most of them

Yes Steve I do recall your unfortunate liaison with that one, and yes she didn't turn out to be all sweetness and life

But that's how it goes sometimes, one bad apple and all that
