Hi All
My name is Steve and I live in Swindon. I've just found this forum and here I am, I used to be an active member of http://www.1400gtr.org.uk but that forum appears to have ceased :(
I bought Magnesium Grey GTR1400 in September 2010 and I really love the bike :) I previously owned a CBF1000 which I had for just over 3 years :)
The bike has just over 4500 miles on the clock :) and I have recently had fitted a set of R&G Adventure Bars as the standard crash protectors don't fit the 2010 model and last week I scrubbed in a set of Pilot Road 3 tyres.
I average around 10,000 mile a year social riding and I am IAM Observer, belonging to the Wilts and Bath Group and an active member of the Knights Templar Motorcycle Touring Club
I look forward to being active in this forum
Kind regards
Steven

Here here.
Welcome Routemaster, I was a member of the other forum too but it had been VERY quiet for a long time!
Aye Oop Routemaster - I too have made the leap from the sunk ship - shame really as it was quite a nice place to be!
helloooooooo from one newbie to another only done 5 miles on mine upto now getting bored waiting for some good weather :(
You'll still be smiling in 17995 miles ;D ;D ;D
Welcome Routemaster ... there is always plenty of chit chat on this forum and if you read through all the threads you will get the idea ! There is a trip to North Wales planned for August BH if you fancy it .. Lonewolf has jacked it up ... can't do you a link as my IT skills don't stretch that far but if you hang on I am sure he will bung one in for you !! Anyway, welcome once again !
routemaster qoute! I bought Magnesium Grey GTR1400 in September 2010 and I really love the bike"
then it seems we have some think in common :) welcome!
Routemaster, welcome along. From one Steve to another, I think you'll find it a bit more lively on here than the other GTR site. I did look at that one months ago but nobody seems to post on it.
As for the bike meet which Lord Rusty mentioned, have a look by all means through the General Discussion tab and in there you will find the thread for trhe Mid Year GTR Owners Convention which rather bizarrely isnt being held mid year, more back end of the year. Nevertheless fingers crossed it'll be an opportunity to get together and have a natter and say, Hi. Nothing formal or anything just a meet up.
Welcome again,
Steve
