minding my own business up at the Bridge (Kirby Lonsdale) on Sunday, I had just made an egg & bacon butty disappear, when out of the corner of my eye I spotted this big ugly bloke :shocked: who had just dismounted a rather tasty looking Versys, then I thought I know that face, and bugger me if it wasn't GTR Nev off this very forum. He has gone and bought a Versys as a winter bike, I expect like me he still wants to get out in winter but cant bring himself round to doing it on the big fella. Anyway we had a chin wag for a while, and then it was time for me and my mate Gordon to go and find some more food to eat, so we toddled off to Glasson dock. Nice seing you again Nev, maybe next time we can have a ride out together. :banana:
Didn't GTRNev pop up out of the blue one other time at Kirby Lonsdale?
He does turn up from time to time and possibly 'watches' this forum. He's a very nice fella :yes: Glad you saw him Geoff.
I last saw him when he popped up at the Edinburgh Classic bike show last November, he only lives about 6 miles away from me.
Good to see you on Sunday Geoff, yeah got to admit I'm a bit of a part timer on the forum, just popping in for a quick look now and again. Funnily enough I happened to make an egg bacon AND sausage sarnie disappear when I was at the Bridge too!! I did'nt stay out on the Versys for long mainly because of frozen finger ends! Heated grips definitley going on Santa's list! Hope you are on the mend Roger and I would still like to pop round sometime for a look at your triple collection if thats ok with you.
If someone wants to go and see his collection of bikes I can't imagine for a moment that it would be anything other than "OK" !! :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol:
