Chaps, (and Debs) I have been looking for information on how to get to the rear accessory wires.
I know there are pics on here somewhere but I can't find them. Can anyone help how I get to them please ?

Steady Eddie is my new name!
The leads really aren't that difficuklt to locate, they are however, shorter than would be liked, but are accessible under/behind the rear seat latch.
Thank you everyone
I want to access mine but how the hell am I supposed to remove these screws? :mfr_lol:
Debs, I'm not sure you need to remove those security screws.................but if you do, then just dremmel a slot across the top, screw them out and replace with some proper bolts
You must realise though that if yo do this then any thief in the country could easily steal the plastic tool tray from your machine :mfr_lol:
Debs, I'm sure I used those wires for my Autocom, so should be really easy to locate.... But it was over 3 years ago. :-p
Neil
Debs - it's easier than that - even I was able to wire up the autocom using those cables... I'll take a look later and snap a pic.
OK I snapped a coupla pics for you.
You can see where the wires come from - and I seem to remember it was a bit of a pain trying to find them, but they are at the back there somewhere :)

Debs, I managed to get a decent pair of grips around the head and once turned a little they simply wound out no problem, i did pinch my fingers once tho, I replaced them with normal stainless steel headed bolts.
I thought it was going to be right pain but it took only 10 mins tops, but remember my bike was new so no crap underneath above the tyre to prevent the unscrewing.
Fitted the autocom to the wires and hid it in the toolbox, then wired the rear extra brake lights into the top box while I was there.

Bloody hell Alan, that must of been awful, I cant imagine the pain you must have gone through whilst having your fingers replaced with stainless steel bolts     :smartass: :mfr_lol:.
