Title: Free Tracker
Post by: trousersnake01 on October 31, 2012, 01:08:06 AM
Team motorcyclists.
this is a free tracker device, the package of the unit and monitoring service is apparently worth £500.
Free with any work done on a bike or service.
Basically if your bike moves 200 metres without ignition on, they call you.
Or if your bike goes over on its side, they call you, and if you don't respond to their call once your bike is on its side they send the emergency services to you by its GPS fix within two metres

read this for the bigger picture, if you do have an accident the ambulance chasing firms will be hounding you, still a clever idea tho and may save someones life

The bloke who owns the company is a biker that had an off in Wales last year and laid undiscovered for three days and nearly died because of it. There will always be a financial gain for providing this service however I do a hundred mile a day on deserted roads 2 and 5 o'clock  in the morning and its nice to know someone has got my back out there even if they want to sell us a claims are us later, you can always say no thanks.

As I said, I'm pleased someone is watching me.
