Ingenious, but I agree with 2Kwacks, good socks, and boots have always worked well for me
Good boots, that's on the list for the bike show.
Alan
I have heated socks I bought from the states... Even has a control knob to regulate the heat... Lovely in the winter months.. :mfr_lol:

OMG :sleep1:
That's the most stupid MOD I ever seen - and specially for a GTR! Funny that he is primary driving in Italy where temp. never goes under 10-15 gr.
:mfr_lol:
A good boot will do the job......
The voltmeter showed 11.8v. By my reckoning he has about 800mv of resistive losses in wiring to the single foot peg. I wonder what happens when it gets wet
Still at least when he off the bike he's taser proof and won't suffer from a lightning strike

So when we ride our bikes in temperatures sometimes below zero it has to make you think how we survive in simple boots and decent socks!
Just bought some merino wool walking socks from mountain warehouse last Saturday . Thoroughly recommend them.

Applaud your inventiveness
Where there's a will there's a way.. not my cup of tea though... I'd rather have a dry if cold pair of boots than a warm wet pair..
Must say, like the rest, I've never had a problem with cold feet when I had decent socks on.
