Well I was hoping for a pootle on the new bike today.... but there's snow on the ground, which means salt too
So maybe I'll give it a miss and do some polishing instead
Snow..... really.....where abouts in the country is that ?
It was just below 0 degrees here this morning at 6.30...the bikes are warm and snug though :mfr_lol:
snow in Norfolk aswell
My little bike (Versys) was due in for its first service today at 9 bells, but when I climbed from my pit at 6 bells and had a peek out, the road outside was full of FROZEN snow , and seeing as I had 95 miles to ride to the dealers I decided that maybe going out in that weather was not a good idea, so I waited until 9 bells then phoned to tell them I wasn't going to risk it in those conditions, they did understand, and have booked it back in for next Saturday. Hopefully the weather will be a bit kinder then  Good news though is that It will be better tomorrow, so god be willing I shall be out tomorrow .

Nah, still grounded Geoff, sorry.
Crikey Patrick ... that looks chilly ... nice piccy ! Wet down here in Sussex now, about +4 but just miserable ...
We'd ridden through a small snow storm on the way to the Millau Bridge over the weekend and this was riding back on Sunday. The bike was flashing -5 at me through some nasty gusting winds; the snow is definitely early.
Kevin

Went out fer lunch on me bike today. 7°C brrr!
On the way back, I misjudged the width of the mirrors by about 50 microns... Ooops! Didn't seem to bother the driver of the wreck I nudged too much, no harm done so off I shivered cranking up the heated grips a few notches...

Thanks Debs, I still dont think its fair that he's out fishing in that inflatable RIB, which might sink without trace, in that beautifully warm water, under that perfect sunset !
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :mfr_lol:
He wont still be crowing when he's been back for a couple of days, then gets struck down with some strange warm climate disease that lays you low for months on end :mfr_lol:.
Steve is due back on Saturday ... it is going to be a massive shock for him ....

I'll gladly stick some photos on the forum but be warned the sun is shining on them all and there are scantily clad ladies in bikinis on some of the pics. That could throw one or two of you over edge, especially the older ones amongst us.
Bring it on I'll risk one eye :mfr_lol:
