A few weeks ago I spoke about the flooding you guys were experiencing in the UK.
Well, we have had some majot flooding down here in the Eastern Cape of South Africa ourselves over the last few days. Some major damage done and certain towns inaccessible due to bridges washing away.
Two people were killed on one of our national roads ( with a 120Km/h speed limit ) when they did not see that the road had washed away !!
See pic attached.
My apologies, I pasted 2 pics by mistake.

It never ceases to amaze me just how powerful and damaging flooding can be, and that is one helluva crater
Looks like a bombs dropped on it
That's bloody enormous, is the flooding subsiding now?

Yes, subsiding but now for the cleaning up !!! Some roads will take ages to sort out so it is still very hectic down here. My business also got flooded so you can imagine that I am not a happy chappy.
But, we are alive and at the end of the day, that is all that matters I suppose.
