Title: almost impossible
Post by: O.C. on October 16, 2012, 10:48:00 AM
I've just spent one and a half hours trying to book some event ticket through Ticketmaster, what a  :censored: nightmare.

I've been a customer for years, and have an account, but still it was a task which proved almost impossible to complete, I understand that security questions like a distorted arabic word need to be input but I simply could not get past them, I even tried the audible option which was totally inaudible, its virtually impossible to find a way of e-mailing and when I found a phone number it gave me an "all our operatives are busy, please try later or ~ use our website" message, WTF

Why are things that used to be so straightforward now so   :censored: difficult, its got to costing them money through lost business. I finally managed to book the event at Liverpool Echo Arena, and when I eventually found a seating plan it bears absolutely no relevance to the seat location/numbers I've been allocated

My Blood pressure is through the roof....I bet they don't ring me back as I've requested  :2guns:

OC I hate with a vengeance automated services. Long gone are the days when you could actually go into a BT or British Gas showroom and speak with a human. Oh and how many of us on here remember dialling 100 on the phone and actually getting through to an operator. Happy days.  :mfr_lol:

Agreed Steve.

They haven't bothered to ring me, just sent an automated reply containing this statement

"We are currently prioritising the replies on a event date and length of delay basis. We would like to reassure you that we will do our utmost to answer your query as quickly as possible."

Thanks Ticketmaster  :gun_bandana:

And yes, I know, I'm a grumpy old bast*rd   [/b]

I hate ticketmaster, its such a rip off. They put so many extras on top, booking fees per ticket, postage etc etc.
It wouldn't be so bad if you had the option to purchase and collect the tickets at the venue.
Its just a monopoly and legalised theft! :2guns:

Not sure who we booked it through but went to the Hairy Bikers on tour show last night in Souf-end....not sure if I was ripped off or not.

No motorbikes, hardly any cooking but lots of old videos on a big screen that I've seen before, and Dave wearing Women's clothes, chains and padlocks or nothing at all....

Weird  but not :mfr_lol: or
