My GTR emerged from hibernation for the 1st time in almost 10 weeks yesterday and I was out with the NEG escorting 800 lady cyclists at the Tatton Park Cycletta. After bit of early morning fog it turned into a really sunny and warm day.
At the end of the event we "collared" Victoria Pendleton for a photo with us. We we going to ask her to pose next to the bikes but she immediatley asked "which bike do i get on?"
Help your self was the reply. Victoria had the choice of an FJR, 3 BMW's and 2 GTR's and chose mine.

After leaving the cycle event I then had a run over the Cat and Fiddle to Buxton before heading home.

Great result - Shame yours isnt Magnesium Grey (the best colour) - I could have claimed the bike as mine!

Yes she looks tiny on the bike and I did ask her to not fall off as she'd struggle to pick it up.
All credit to her for turning out on the Cycletta and simply riding the route amongst other "fun" riders. After she event she was very approachable giving lots of photo opportunities and signing autographs.
AND she didn'tchoose to sit on the BLACK GTR!
