Still a very skillful performance. I thought you were bloody brilliant!
Thanks mate!
That's superb! Nice moves! I fancy a go at that too after watching that :biker3:
So cool Neil.. You make it look effortless..
Sorry neil but that was boring
Neil ... well done you .. I too thought that was excellent stuff ..not easy to do but you made it look so .....
well done Neil
Thanks guys... It not as hard as it looks.
Just needs a little bit of practice and patience.
Most people that come along to experience days are about 54 seconds, with the slowest being upwards of 1 min 20seconds...
I think, with 1 to 1 tuition, I could get anyone to do a GP8 in 50 seconds, and dropping to below 45 in a couple of hours.....
Neil
Neil, am I right in thinking that you dont use the front brake?. Good performance, well done .
- nice riding. Esp the exhaust burble with the second run.
- and definitely no fr brakes used. Only rear.
.
I was worried about dropping my baby... The surface was not saying very nice things. And I got warned by Abbey Riders to not under-estimate what the surface is saying. (if that means anything). In simple terms .... I'm just about to let go.....
I do use the front and rear a lot, but you also have to remember, he GTR has linked brakes, and in that environment, you can hear the front brake whistling when you apply the rear (air being trapped by the perforated disks).
It kinda puts you off, and as I said - off day, if your brain is picking up on things like that, your not focasing 100% on the task at hand.... Somedays, it's best not to push it to the edge.... It'll end in tears and. Huge repair bill!!!!
But I also guess you have to learn to read or hear the signals the bike, tyres and or surface is telling you.
Sorry, I'm waffling gain! :-)
