anyone know how easy/expensive it is to get a replacement spare key (the thin credit card type one ) - can't find it for love nor money !!!!
Your local friendly Kawasaki dealer will no doubt order one for you. It will need to be matched to your machine, and you may need to take a small extension to your mortgage to pay for it :mfr_lol:

anyone actually needed to get one ???? --- any idea of cost ??? --- if as expensive as some on here claim than I'll just have to forget it and have the large fob surgically implanted under my skin !!!!
When you order new fob keep the package .. It will contain numbers that your dealer need to program it to your gtr
You can have your dealer order it for you
not sure how much the credit card fob is.. but I do know how much the main proixmity fob is.. it is £254.00 that includes coding to the bike. you also need to order the key that fits inside of the fob seperate and the dealer needs your key code number to have the blade cut to match your ignition barrel, so the total price may vary pending which dealer you use. I managed to get the dealer to get me a second proixmity fob and the blade cut at cost price and he programmed it for free  must admit I wouldn't have botherd if I would have needed to pay the full price :nono: dam expensive for a spare fob. the credit card key is a excellent idea it's small enough to keep in your wallet  have you ordered a credit card fob?.. how much was it?.. just courious, not nosey
mailed kawasaki and they priced the card and blank key at £35 + vat - then whatever dealer will charge to cut and code it to bike !!
- was just about to order one --- then I found original    (under fridge !!)
