as soon as the weather picks up, I will be heading to north wales for a long awaited ride out! would like to arange a meet for some of us! "put a face to some of them names" now not everyone is close enough to northwales to do a day ride! am approx 100 miles from north wales. would like to arange a meet at the pondersoa http://ponderosa.viviti.com/ if your with-in a reasonable distance and would like a ride out for the day, will try and arange somethink with-in the next few weeks or the next decent saturday or sunday that comes along!
sounds good to me i'll do my best to make this one
Sounds good.
I'm 105 miles from Ponderosa, never been before and I like a change of scenery ;D
also swallowfalls is 30mins ride from the pondersoa so it will give us a chance to see what the camp site is like for thoses you are going later in the year! will keep an eye out for the next decent saturday or sunday but will give a weeks noticed. watch this space!!!!!
I'd be up for this too. I've never been to the Ponderosa. I've book marked it now so I'll remember.
It's about 1hr 45m from where I live. I reckon I could do it in an hour ;D Looks like a nice place to visit
I'm 35 mins from Ponderossa... keep me posted!!

ok lads will defo sought this out as soon as a decent sunday comes along. am asuming sunday is best due to work comitments. lets get this month out of the way. will check the weather forcast for the first sunday in march and if fine will meet there about around 11.00 am. then have a run out to denbigh moors, betws-y-coded, swallow falls and bala lake. but also suprised that a few of you reasonable local lads have not been here before, the pondersoa is a very popular bike meeting place and bikers come from everywhere! on a nice summers sunday you would be lucky if theres room to even park your bike!
a good run from Ponderossa is to go down the A525 Nant Y garth Pass, to Ruthin and then across the B5105 through Clocaenog Forrest over to the A5 at Cerrigidrudion. and then head north west passing Llyn Brenig to join the A543 denbigh moors road back to the A5.
I'd skip "Betty Coed" as you can't get parked and go over to Bala on the A470 and A4212

not sure if have done that run, may have done part of it. but it dose make sense about "b coed" thou, there is a problem in parking. theres about 12 marked bike parking places, "get the feeling they dont like us bikers there! but if we visit swallow falls dont we need to pass through "b coded" so may be worth a quick look to park to have a break and a brew! your a local lad so know the best roads. so am happy to try the route you suggested, so looks like where following you!
will keep an eye on the weather this week, if next sunday the 13th, looks ok. will be at the ponderosa between 11.00am to 12.00 midday, hope to see some of you there! will confirm this pending weather on saturday 12th. :)
I'm hoping to start my on-road induction / trainng with the NEG next Sunday so probably wont be able to come.
