Panniers... now there's a subject.... At last I've found a bike where I don't intend to change the panniers......
I've had quite a few GS's in my time... and the first thing I do is change them...
I've had a Touratech special set, a balanced set with a stubby exhaust, a set of Al Jesse's , a set of ARD cases, 3 sets of 1150 ADV ally panniers, 2 sets of 1200 GSA panniers , a set of Vario's, a set of Caja Sahel's and at least 3 sets of standard 1150 ones... not forgetting the peli case as a top box....
The Explorer was in my possession from new for 4 months... a full set of Givi Trekkers, and a set of genuine Triumph .....
Bags for inside? the £14 each Hein Gericke fit the GTR panniers pretty well :yes:

Its quiet because ive been riding from Calais to Portimao for the last 3 days, now got web access. Ive been sitting here in 35c heat trying to read the posts in bright sunshine. Got nothing controversial to add, looking forward to WSBK on Sunday. I will post details of the trip (and photos/vids later) 1500 miles,2 1/2 days 80-110mph, 52mpg!!!!
