Thanks chaps, and the link to Deb's solution gives me an idea ( I have a ram ball with an M8 allen bolt through it already(http://www.desismileys.com/smileys/desismileys_0500.gif) (http://www.desismileys.com/)

Out of interest does anyone know the torque value for the yoke bolt/screw thingy?

Got it sorted quite neatly... I had a ram ball with an M8 bolt through it (designed to replace a handlebar clamp bolt)
I took the top yoke cap off and used liquid metal to secure a nut on the underside.. 24 hrs later , cap torqued back up and ram Ball bolted through onto captive nut

Spent the afternoon fitting Autocom Super ProAutomatic and the Zumo 660...

I think the term is 'cooking by gas'
