Hi,

What year is the bike?  You do know there was a recall on the Headlight adjusters! - recall was to fit a screw and cap in the centre.

If you give Bournemouth Kawasaki a ring - Website is http://www.bournemouth-kawasaki.co.uk/   44 (0) 1202 635140.

If you speak to Matt, he may be able to help.

Neil

Neil, I wasn't aware of that. I've just checked my bike and it does have what looks like a centre screw with a black cap over it, I guess thats what you mean.

The recall was on 08 models, as post 2009, this was fixed in the factory.

not entirely sure, but recalls are not date sensitive as usually these are "safety related", I would definately try and contact a kawasaki dealer with you VIN Number.

previously, they were just push on and easily lost.

Hope that helps.

:agree: 100% correct. my 2008/9 model lost both knobs within a week and was fixed under warranty/recall back in the day

I would have thought that if Johnny's bike hasn't had the recall done then any bona fida dealer should do it f.o.c

Pannier securing catches, they should be Orange colour if the recall has been done, later model GTRs already have Orange catches

Rear brake control rod, or on earlier models a shield was attached to stop dirt/stone ingress behind the control rod

I think that's about it...others may have better memory than me.
