Pah!... not really impressed to be honest... I see that MCN did a whole 384 miles ..in 8 hours WOW! still my beating heart... that is hardly a test of a Touring Bike... in fact it's bloody pathetic.. we did abut that far, that last weekend and I was on the Tuono..
Seriously ....if you're gonna test a Tourer properly, pack two weeks worth of kit, plus maybe a pillion, and crack on down to Spain and back. THAT'S a test ride.
So often they do these tests in the Mags with no kit on board, rave on how good it is, then when we buy it and go fer a Touring holiday we find all the extra weight makes it handle like a Hippo on Acid!
I assumed that there's more to come Mogs...
The last line of the report says "400 miles tomorrow and I'll be back with the rest of the scoop"
No doubt there'l be plenty more conflicting reports about this bike before we get to Christmas :mfr_lol:[/b]

That's how we do the Tourer Tests with RiDE. 2000 - ish miles, fully loaded, usually with tank bags (and last year with pillions), mix of UK and European motorways, twisties, town classified and unclassified roads.

Shame on you Coney. I thought you were into classic bikes.
I rode one of these around the USA in the early 80s.
Rental bike so I thrashed it mercilessly and never got it to break.
