Rumers state that Yamaha FJR1300 grow into FJR 1400. Motor from R1 and Crossplane - ABS, tractions control etc.
New gearbox with semi-auto as in the current (newest) FJR1300. Finally Yamaha has seen the "need" for a new tourer, new design, motor etc. Seems like a "well done" bike.....

Spy photo! Looks more like a promo shot. :mfr_lol: Almost as bad as MCN when they claim they have spy shots of this bike and that bike.
Well, if that is the pic of the new bike, have to say it looks good. However, the semi-auto box is not well liked by many owners AND, it is ( and never will be ) a GTR !!!!
Deon
It looks a bit Namby Pamby for my liking. :mfr_lol:
I like a bike to have a bit of a GRRRRRR about it.. Thats what the GTR does for me.. :mfr_lol:
Looks like the ideal bike for someone posing as Mr Plod. Sorry, bit bitter and twisted at present.
Why would anyone want to pose as plod? :mfr_lol:
I'll get me coat .....
Just had another gander at it and it's not a patch on the GTR looks wise. I'll stick with my current bike, ta.
Looks nice but not as stylish as the GTR
Wonder if there's a new GTR around the corner then. I guess we'll find out on the 13th
Looks like the Triumph/BMW... one wonders if the designers are so afraid to take a chance on sumit new, they are just cloning what seems to work.... :sleep1:
:agree:

I bet if Apple were making bikes we would have some hefty lawsuits going on. :mfr_lol:
Massey Fergusson MK2
i always said that if they revamped the fjr id pull the trigger on it, i tested the 1300 and loved the sensible layout of the low down panniers twin chrome low exhausts, the ride was good.
however looking at the styling and the stupid euro exhaust of this one im undecided again.Id have a go see when it hits the showrooms tho
