that was on the spare of the moment, me and my mate decided on the monday to go on the following saturday! defo going again, when we do your welcome to join us.
All I can think of looking at those pictures is that I want a ZZR1400
Could I get away with having three bikes? ZZR, GTR and a track bike
I did at one point own a SR125, GPZ 500 and Suzuki VStrom - all at the same time
Dare I say it, I like the Busa. Far too fast for me though!

well! I can defo tell you, the zzr1400 is a slightly quicker than the busa, ok theres sod all in it really. but off the mark the zzr1400 is ahead by a bike lenght over a standard 1/4 mile. they are both capable of doing the 1/4 mile in 9 seconds, both bikes will do 0 to 60 in 2.5 seconds. the only draw back is both bikes eat tyres like there going out of fashion.
I love the ZZR. Opening that throttle on it is one of the best feelings. All the monies I had set aside this year for bikes will be going on getting the bathrooms and garden done :(

bikes are great because they dont take as much room as cars, so I say have as many as you can afford or store! have allways had 4 bikes plus! at any one time, but sold them to buy the gtr1400, I have no intentions off getting rid of the zzr1400. it is defo the best bike have ever ridden or owned, the power from this machine is breath-taking, have recently sold the excellent zx636cf6, zx7r p6,cbr 600, and the gsxr600 all excellent handleing machines. and the zzr1400 is just a good as any of theses supersports in the handleing department. and as far out out right power is concearned! well you will power down before you run out of it!! you will not find a better allrounder than the df8 zzr1400. they do everythink great, straite from the grate! get one, you will not be dissapointed! but allow for a new rear every year! they eat tyres like there going out of fashion. have had 3 new rears in 7,500 miles, and 50% of the time am only using half the power thats available. check this clip out of a stock 2006 zzr1400, plus the 2006 and 2007 models make less power than the 2008 onwards, due to the change in the fueling and the larger header pipes fitted and various other little tweeks here and there that kawasaki changed to the 2008 onwards model.

That is just crazy and that's why I want one ;D
Prices seem to be OKish as well. 6.5k for a low mileage 08 model. I can seriously see myself using the ZZR in the summer and GTR in the winter. If only I had 6.5k lurking around ...

think you would be lucky to get a df8 model one owner low mileage. even with out extras for under £7,000 the new 2011 model is £11,000 and they have only change the colours, so 2008 onwards are holding there price very well!
Was looking on eBay and looks likes there some bargains to be had in that case. I may well have a ZZR this summer ;D

I was having a look at this last night. Seems a very reasonable price for someone.

suppose the way things are now! and this time of the year, this is the right time to buy.
Twas in the dealer yesterday, "just looking".. as you do ... and he had the new ZZR1400 up on the display stand.. black and green ... I have to say it did look lovely, a little long, but none the less .. very seductive. There are a few about that are just a couple of years old for half decent money ... that is a shed load of bike for your pound ... probably one of the best, along with the Blackbird me thinks.

the zzr1400 is a lot of bike for the money. I bought mine new in june 2008 and coverd 7,800 miles to date, and can not report one single fault or complaint about this bike. its as good at town riding and the twisties, as it is as a hyper tourer. it can also be flicked about as easy as any supersport and is much more comfortable to ride on long runs! it really is a excellent allrounder, and it never fails to bring a very large smile to my face every time I ride it.
A souple of mine..........
