Title: BUG'S ME
Post by: keith on September 02, 2012, 04:56:33 PM
hi gtr's ... quick one for you's just went into the garage to unwrap  my zzr and take it out .as i dont get much time and it is an excellent day up here in tyneside so i have to grab it while i can.pulled out the bike and  found loads of ants walking across the garage floor some with wings. all heading outside, put loads of powder down and sprayed them, all dead and gone inside the garage.i have noticed some ant activity outside but when i looked at the pavements they seemed to be loads of the little shits.must have something to do with the hot weather to-day? just wondering is it only us up here in the north east that seems to be getting plagued with ants this year or has anyone else noticed  them in your area.
anyway went out for a blast any hitchikers would have been well blown off,   cheers  keith.

No I dont have any problems with ants in my garage and I'm only a tad further south than you. However I did find a toad in my garage only last week.  I think we get toads as we have a pond in the rear garden.

Or alternatively especially for the southern softies if it's going to be cold just toughen up a bit. You don't hear us northerners bleating about how cold it might get.  :mfr_lol:

EB ... You'll have to start all over again ... they won't have a clue what "wine" is let alone "Premier Cru" .... just tell them it's like beer ( it contains alcohol ) and watch them smile ...... simple folk.

Rusty,

t'up North they probably think wine is the noise their gear box makes.....or whippet makes when it's chained to the lamp post outside of LIDL.....

I was going to say ....wife makes.....but thought better of it.

 a growler is a pork pie, always has been and always will be. Never heard it used in any other context before.

A few years ago I ate a Chinese Growler, mind you I fancied another one about an hour later....

These days though, at my age I can hardly manage 2 Growlers a week, let alone 2 a night.    :ohplease:
