Nice looking machine. I dont think I could ever go back to an unfaired bike but I do like the XJR's as it was the bike that resurected my biking passion a few years ago.

Oh FFS!...did you have to..... now i want another one!! :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol:
a mate of mine has a 'Y' reg yellow & black one,he's had it from new,the carb'd model with 53,000 on the clock,it's never missed a beat,i will not sell the GTR,i'm surprised i aint got arm's like POPEYE,it's a lovely ride,a bit of a HEAVY WEIGHT THOUGH,on the test ride on the xjr it felt agile if that make's sense, cant wait to get it on saturday.
A guy at work has one in the exact same colour, i think its on a 08 plate. he as fitted a big side car to it, him and is wife do a lot of camping, so he fitted a tow bar to the back so he can tow his trailer tent with it. It looks as big as a Eddie Stobart truck when its fully loaded. I will post a pic of it.
Nice machine mate, I have a yellow and black y reg one with 20000 miles on. Lovely bike to ride. Also had an 08 FI model which was a little less comfy but handled better and felt a bit more refined.
Traded that one in for my GTR.
Daz
That is VERY nice Tapps ... as Zedman says " I hope you have strong neck muscles" !! :mfr_lol: You will need them at any thing above 70 !
Arms like an Orangutan and a neck like a Giraffe :mfr_lol:
But definitely worth it for a bike like that

Unfortunately no. I had two of them, sold first one due to seperation and need to keep a roof over my head back in 1990. Second one went in 1999 to fund a Blackbird.
If I had the money/space, I would love another one.
The new six is a good replacement though.......

Iused to own one of the big Suzuki GSX1100 Gs, I used to call it the elephant, because it was as big as one, and also the same colour as one. It steered like a truck, but was utterly bomb proof.
