Ten of us softy southerners will be nipping across the chanel to Bikers Loft www.grd.be for a night of fun which includes two bands on stage, Saturday 6th October, with breakfast.
I know Debs does not like it, but loads of us have been going for years.
A quick blast there and back as it were.

Looks nice BA ....
Have a great time Alan..........like you wouldn't anyway :mfr_lol:
Sooooo why dosen't Debs like it.......
Mind you ....although I'haven't been to this particular one (so I can't comment), but on the whole most of these so called Bikers hotels are utter shite.... you get crap rooms and a sense of if you're not 'one of the usuall crowd' you get flicked off for sure...... one certain Welsh establishment springs to mind... :hammer:
I prefer to find to something more befiting my status as an International media Superstar, something with many stars and hot and cold running room service.. :gunsmilie:

Well like you i am a superstar and cherish the smaller things in life, like hot and cold running water which it has, showers which it has, a bar which we frequent far to much, and a stage for the band to go on, so far in over 10 years of visiting them i have not had a cause to complain, even the headache's in the morning are better than i would have here.
But everybody to there own i guess.
I also know of a Welsh Bikers "hotel" which i spent a weekend in and wont be going back, it was that memorable i cant even remember its name but i know where it is.

I can remember when it first opened many years ago, me and my buddies used to go 3 or 4 times a year and it was superb, but unfortunately a change of owner changed things almost overnight, and now just looking at the place from outside, it just looks shabby. Must say though that I have not stayed there since the new owners arrived, But recent feedback is not good so maybe I will never visit again.
