am 5 ft 7 inch with a 29 inside leg! have fitted low gell seat and can manage ok! but over the years, have also master precise control of the front brake. and due to the way our roads camfer, this allows me to put my right foot down when stopping. I can get one foot flat on the ground, there as been a few times when a h.g.v as made deep tracks in the road or theres been a deep hole have not noticed then the bike dose tend to lean and am on my tip toes!

I'm 5'11 with a 31/32" inside leg and manage just fine, with both feet on the floor! ;D

I'm 6ft and can get both feet down. My mate is about 5'4" and he rides a Pan. He's always on tiptoes but manages OK

5 ft 4 inch and rides a pan! dam and double dam! is it the st 1100 or the st 1300, if I remember rigthly the st 1300 had a ajustable seat from about 310mm to 325mm even on the short arse setting I was on my tip toes. the st1100 had reasonable short seat height at about 300 mm but at only 5ft 4 inch thats pushing it! still I take my hat of to him!!

It's a ST1100 and my mate is pretty good on bikes as he tends to race them. He likes the pan so much that he bought the same model again. I rode his ST1100 once. Never again.

fair comment! but in its day the st 1100 was a excellent machine, to be fair, still a fine machine! out dated by about 10 years, but still a capable machine!
A bit like the old BMW RT1150, a very good bike and you can pick them up dirt cheap with very low mileage. There are some old classics out there which are still worth buying. ;D
