Title: Warning Letter?
Post by: Debs on August 03, 2012, 03:54:25 PM
The guys in America have been receiving recall letters this week for the Concours 14 for all years..

Is this something only for those or should we be receiving a letter? Should we worry if nothing is mentioned to us here in the UK?

Cant see how it can only affect their bikes as they are built in the same place.. I think.. Hmmmm

The good ole U.S of A, does seem to get a lot more recalls than we do, I've only had one for my Tuono yet the Yanks have had 4

One can only assume that Manufactors are more shit scared of being sued over there, than they are here.

These recalls are being sent out this week in the states. Must be something new.

If memory serves me right the reason for more recalls in america is they are way more strict on faults and especially when a number of owners have reported the same fault.

It could well be that we get the same recall over this side of the pond

Time will tell.

Please see my reply on the possible recall posted earlier this evening, which is just above this post.
